Dawn receives the Distinguished Service Award from the American Association of Nurse Life Care Planners
The American Association of Nurse Life Care Planners (AANLCP) is a professional member organization for nurses working in the field of life care planning. The AANLCP promotes education, collegiality, collaboration, research, and standards as they relate to the practice of Nurse Life Care Planning.
The Distinguished Service Award recognizes an active member who demonstrates outstanding support through significant contributions to the AANLCP. Dawn was presented with this award during the 2022 AANLCP Annual Educational Conference.

Dawn Cook is a licensed Registered Nurse who has worked with serious and catastrophic illness and injury with over 40 years of experience in clinical settings and as a life care planner and medical bill reviewer. Dawn holds the certified life care planner (CLCP) and certified nurse life care planner (CNLCP) designations. Dawn is a member of the American Association of Nurse Life Care Planners and sits on the journal committee of the Journal of Nurse Life Care Planning, a peer-reviewed publication.
