New Publication in Journal of Nurse Life Care Planning
Nurse Life Care Planner, Dawn Cook, is happy to share that her recent article, “Platelet Rich Plasma: Life Care Planning Considerations,” is featured in the Fall 2017 issue of the AANLCP’s Journal of Nurse Life Care Planning. The AANLCP (American Association of Nurse Life Care Planners) is known as the premier professional member organization of nurses and non-nurses working in the life care planning field.
Platelet Rich Plasma, or PRP, is a treatment method that has become prevalent in the area of pain management. In her years as a hospital nurse up until the present as a life care planner, Dawn has seen the benefits PRP can have on injury patients. Her article provides an overview of PRP treatment, as well as practical information specific to PRP research in life care planning and medical bill reviews.
